Veterinary Clinic Manager - DU - Antwerp Province

As a Veterinary Clinic Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the team of veterinarians and animal nurses and you are responsible for medical, operational and HR related matters in order to achieve a smooth internal collaboration. The team to manage is composed by 13 passionate veterinarian and 6 highly trained animal nurses including the head animal nurse.

Description

As a successful Veterinary Clinic Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• You will ensure the smooth operation of the clinic on a daily basis

• Together with the team, you set out the medical vision of the practice and adjust the quality where necessary

• Watch over the customer's sense of welcome. Both customer and patient are central. You delegate tasks to the team to ensure this optimal service

• You are responsible for the management and coaching of the staff, paying attention to individual questions or feelings. You are a listening ear and mediate where necessary

• You are responsible for the personnel administration, the transmission of monthly performances, the leave schedules, the waiting schedule and the HR policy within the clinic

• You strive to achieve the annual objectives of the practice and closely monitor the results and the proposed budgets together with your colleagues

Profile

As a successful Veterinary Clinic Manager will have the following profile:

• You have at at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent through relevant work experience

• You have already built up the necessary experience within the medical sector (human, veterinary medicine), in the pharmaceutical sector, as a lab manager, or in another relevant role or sector.

• You are fluent in Dutch and English

• You are a mature, independent, and optimistic person, with an emphasis on kindness, service, and discretion, who can lead people in a respectful manner

• You have a healthy sense of responsibility and a positive drive to tackle and solve problems

• You are stress-resistant, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to always keep an overview

• You have strong administrative and communication skills
