Description

Up for sale this rare 5/51 archtop Framus, which left the factory in June 1960.

The guitar is in very good conditions for its age, the neck is straight as an arrow, no fret wear in sight (she may have been regretted at some point) and very playable action.

It has been modded by its previous owner, with the following improvements:

Dearmond Rhythm Chief floating pickup;

German-made piezo bridge;

Stereo output (one female jack that can send signal to either one or two inputs);

Tortoiseshell pick guard.

The guitar is light, resonant, and obviously has a cool vibe to it.

The "Hakkert-Schiedam" sticker on the headstock was applied by the store it was originally purchased at.

It will be shipped with its original case, bridge and pick guard, set up with 10-46 Thomastik Infeld flatwound strings.

Good luck!
