Greco SS60 / SS600 - Mint Collection - 1984 - Ebony

Here is a pretty interesting 1984 Greco SS60 Mint Collection (before known as the SS600)

I first thought it has no serial but after close inspection i was able to identify it : K841845. Which dates the guitar to November of 1984.

It has some dings, scratches and a remaining strap button hole on the top horn but it is in relatively good shape and has no break or repair

Pickups, tuners, some screws, electronic wires, knobs, strap buttons have been replaced. I don't own the original. The guitar has also been (nicely) refretted so nibs aren't present anymore.

This is a copy of a 1975-1979 Gibson SG Standard. In August or September of 1981, the inlay changes its design.1981 catalog mislabels neck as 3-pc. Renamed SS-60 in 1982, this would become the only SS model to continue as part of the Super Real series after the Mint Collection was introduced. Although the 1984 catalog was the last to feature this model, production continued until at least April of 1985.
