Hay Tapis Paper / 80 x 200 cm - 100 % papier, Poudre de cannelle
Née au Danemark pendant la guerre, la technique de tissage du papier tressé était alors très répandue. Elle permettait de pallier à la pénurie de coton et de laine.
Le duo de designers Scholten & Baijings a choisi de remettre au goût du jour cette technique, qui a l’avantage de produire des tapis résistants et entièrement recyclables. En résulte une collection aux coloris vibrants, conçue sur le modèle du patchwork. Légers et faciles à vivre, les tapis Paper sont pourvus au verso d’une couche de gomme anti-dérapante. On aime leur look chaleureux et leur prix tout doux !

The result is a collection with vibrant colors, designed on the patchwork model. Light and easy to live with, the Paper rugs have a layer of non-slip rubber on the back.
