Description

This internet gateway for Sentera products connects to the internet via the local wifi network. This makes it easier to set up your Sentera network. It also offers the possibility to have remote access to your installation. Connect your compatible HVAC products and monitor or control them remotely. You can log data and receive alarms. Define different users and create your personal dashboard. The power supply voltage is 24 VDC. DIN rail mounting.

The DIGWM is designed to connect Sentera devices or a network of devices to the Internet . Its primary purpose is to facilitate the configuration and monitoring of these devices via SenteraWeb. It serves as a bridge between Sentera devices and the Internet and enables wireless connectivity to existing Wi-Fi networks. It also provides Modbus RTU communication channels for interaction with connected devices and is accessible to higher-level controllers or BMS systems.Wireless Connection
The DIGWM is equipped with wireless capabilities and is designed to connect wirelessly to an existing WiFi network. This enables communication with Sentera's cloud-based platform.Modbus RTU
The unit is equipped with two Modbus RTU channels:
Master channel : This channel is used to communicate with the connected slave devices. In Modbus communication, the master device controls and collects data from the slave devices.
Slave channel : The slave channel is used to make the unit accessible to a master controller or a building management system (BMS). In this context, the DIGWM can act as a slave device that responds to commands and requests from a higher-level controller or system.SenteraWeb integration
The DIGWM is designed to work seamlessly with SenteraWeb, Sentera’s web-based monitoring and configuration platform. Users can access and manage their Sentera devices via SenteraWeb, thanks to the connectivity provided by the DIGWM. They can also add configurators and other users, so that more than one person can adjust and/or monitor the HVAC system, because monitoring indoor air quality is essential for a healthy and comfortable living or working environment.How to Monitor Indoor Air Quality Using an Internet Gateway and SenteraWeb
1. Set up the Internet Gateway
Make sure your Internet Gateway is properly installed and connected to your local Wi-Fi network.
2. Connect your HVAC products
Connect your HVAC devices to the Internet Gateway.
3. Access SenteraWeb
Access the SenteraWeb platform using a web browser on your computer or mobile device. You will need to create an account or log in if you are already registered.
4. Add your HVAC units
Follow the instructions to add your HVAC products to your SenteraWeb account. You will need to provide the devices’ unique serial number, which can be found on each Sentera product. Once your HVAC devices are connected to SenteraWeb, you can remotely monitor their status and indoor air quality data. This can include parameters such as temperature, humidity, and more, depending on the capabilities of your HVAC system and sensors.
5. Adjust Settings
SenteraWeb also allows you to remotely adjust the settings of your HVAC devices. You can set desired temperature levels, fan speeds, humidity levels, and other parameters to optimize indoor comfort and air quality.
6. Data Logging and Analysis
SenteraWeb offers data logging capabilities, which allow you to capture historical indoor air quality data. This data can be useful for tracking trends, identifying problems, and making informed adjustments to improve indoor air quality over time.
7. Set Alerts
SenteraWeb offers the ability to set alerts. You can configure alerts to notify you when specific air quality parameters fall outside of acceptable ranges (you can receive the notifications via email or SMS). This allows you to quickly address air quality issues.
8. Regular Checks and Maintenance
Regularly check the SenteraWeb platform to ensure that everything is functioning properly. If you notice any issues or abnormalities in the air quality data, take appropriate action, such as adjusting settings or contacting HVAC professionals for service.
