This device can monitor the differential pressure across two filters simultaneously. You can connect to SenteraWeb - the online HVAC portal - via your Wi-Fi network or via Ethernet. When an air filter becomes dirty, the differential pressure across the filter increases. As soon as an adjustable threshold value is exceeded, SenteraWeb can notify you by e-mail or SMS message. This way you are warned in time that the air filter needs to be replaced soon. In this way, maintenance and replacement of the air filter can be planned in advance. The LEDs on the device provide a visual indication of the differential pressure. The device can be mounted on a panel or wall near the air filter.

Double filter monitoring for heat recovery systems (WTW)
Most ventilation systems with heat recovery are equipped with two fans and two filters. The pressure difference across both filters can be monitored via the FIM28 devices. The WTW unit supplies the building with fresh, filtered air. The air filters of the ventilation system stop pollen, dust particles and other contaminants. For a healthy indoor air climate, the air filters must be cleaned or replaced regularly. Sometimes this is forgotten or done far too late, with serious consequences for the indoor air quality. After all, dirty air filters can no longer stop all contaminants. In addition to good indoor air quality, another advantage of clean air filters is that they allow the air flow to pass through more easily. This means that the fans consume considerably less energy. Never wait too long again
How quickly an air filter becomes dirty depends on various parameters and on the local conditions. This makes it difficult to estimate when it needs to be cleaned or replaced. Sometimes you schedule maintenance too early, sometimes too late. So, in addition to energy, you can also save a lot on maintenance costs by optimizing the intervals. Measuring is knowing, so there is no better way than monitoring your filters via the FIM air filter monitor. As soon as they need to be cleaned or replaced, a notification is sent by e-mail or SMS. You determine at which pressure difference you want to receive the notifications. This makes it possible to plan the maintenance in advance and organize it efficiently.


Pressure difference as a benchmark for monitoring filter saturation

As air filters become more dirty, more and more particles accumulate in the air filter. This makes it more difficult for the air flow to pass through the air filter. This increases the pressure difference across the air filter. The FIM air filter monitor measures the pressure difference across the air filter. When the threshold value is exceeded, a notification is sent that the air filters require maintenance. The LEDs on the front panel provide a visual indication. When the air filter is clean, the LED is green. When the contamination increases, the LED changes to yellow. When the filter is heavily contaminated and the pressure difference exceeds the threshold value, the LED turns red. Warning to replace air filters
FIM air filter monitors are connected to SenteraWeb - the online HVAC portal. Via SenteraWeb it is possible to monitor connected devices, log data, change settings (e.g. the differential pressure threshold value) or receive notifications. The FIM-EW versions use the local Wi-Fi network or your Ethernet network to connect to SenteraWeb. Different users and configurators can be defined for each air filter monitor. A user can see the pressure difference across the air filter and check the status, but they cannot change settings. Configurators can also change settings (e.g. warning threshold). Configurators can activate data recording (logging) so that the evolution of the pressure difference can be viewed historically. This stored data can be exported (.csv file). Notifications can be sent via e-mail or via text message (SMS) to the selected users and configurators.
