Intelligente kanaalsensor temperatuur | CO2 | vochtigheid, 2
Description
The DCMFF sensor for air ducts measures CO2, temperature and relative humidity. It combines these 3 measured values in one intelligent output to which you can directly connect the EC fan or control valve. The probe of the sensor is equipped with a flexible flange with which you can attach the device to the air duct. This way the cabling can be neatly concealed. The sensor requires 18 to 34 VDC supply voltage and for the output you can choose between 0 - 10 VDC / 0 - 20 mA / PWM. As always with the new generation of Sentera sensors, this sensor is equipped with Modbus RTU communication.
Smart indoor air quality based on temperature, humidity and CO2Controlling indoor air quality is not easy. You would like the sensor to take everything into account. Well, this sensor from Sentera can register various measured values. The sensor algorithm controls one output. This output can control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a valve actuator. The output value varies proportionally as a function of the measured temperature, relative humidity and CO2. For example, as the temperature, relative humidity or CO2 content approaches their maximum limit, the fan speed increases or the valve opens.CO 2 measurements in air ducts People produce CO 2 or carbon dioxide
when they breathe . This makes the CO 2 concentration a good indicator of the occupancy and activity level in a room. In many applications, CO 2 sensors are used as an indicator of the ventilation requirement . This HVAC transmitter measures temperature, relative humidity and CO 2 in air ducts. The dew point is calculated based on the temperature and humidity . This sensor functions best when mounted in a straight section of the air duct. Avoid installation in turbulent air zones near filters, fans, cooling coils, etc. Position the sensor correctly with respect to the air flow direction. Refer to the mounting instructions for more detailed information.NDIR sensor technology
NDIR or non-dispersive infrared technology is used to measure the CO 2 level. This technology offers low life cycle costs and accurate and stable long-term operation. This sensor has three separate analog outputs . Each of them transmits one of the measured values. For example, output 1 transmits 0 V at 0 °C and 10 V at 50 °C by default. Each output value varies proportionally according to the measured temperature, humidity or CO 2 concentration. The measured temperature is available via output 1, relative humidity via output 2 and CO 2 concentration via output 3.
Easy to use!
This sensor does not require any configuration . Once installed, it is ready to use. The default settings are sufficient for most applications. If necessary, the settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communication. For example, a different output type can be selected to make the sensor compatible with existing devices: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM. The Modbus register map gives a complete overview of all adjustable settings.
4-wire connection
The supply voltage is 24 VDC. The ground terminals of the power supply (V-) and output (GND) are not connected internally. This means that a 4-wire cable is required to connect this sensor. Most 24 VDC power supplies offer protection against short circuit, overload and overvoltage. A supply voltage of 24 VDC increases the safety and reliability of your installation.
Self-calibrating to compensate for sensor drift
The self-calibrating ABC algorithm is enabled by default. This algorithm is designed to be used in applications where the CO 2 concentration will drop to outdoor ambient conditions (400 ppm) at least once (15 minutes) in a 7 day period, which typically occurs during periods of unoccupied space. The sensor will reach its maximum accuracy after 25 hours of continuous operation provided it has been exposed to ambient air reference levels of 400 ppm ± 10 ppm CO 2 .
Air ducts
The housing is optimized for CO 2 measurements in air ducts . It offers IP54 protection against the ingress of dust and moisture. The sensor element is integrated into the probe of the duct sensor. This probe is provided with an opening so that there is direct contact between the air flow and the sensor element. The sensor probe offers IP20 protection.
