With its smart algorithm and universal 24 volt power supply, the DCTHG channel sensor can be switched on as an intelligent standalone controller for your ventilation. But it doesn't stop there. Thanks to the built-in Modbus RTU communication, you can also use it in your ventilation network and even in combination with your building management system. The sensor measures temperature and humidity. You determine to what extent it takes these values into account when calculating the universal output signal (0-10 V / 0-20 mA / PWM), with which it controls the ventilation.

Smart indoor air quality based on temperature and relative humidity
Temperature and relative humidity are the most important comfort parameters for a comfortable indoor air quality. You would prefer the sensor to take both parameters into account. Well, this sensor from Sentera can record both measured values and the sensor algorithm controls a single output . This output can control an EC fan, an AC fan speed controller or a damper actuator. The output value varies proportionally according to the measured temperature and relative humidity. For example, as the temperature or relative humidity approaches their maximum limit, the fan speed increases or the damper opens.

Easy to use!
This sensor does not require any configuration . Once installed, it is ready to use. The default settings are sufficient for most applications. If necessary, the settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communication. For example, a different output type can be selected to make the sensor compatible with existing devices: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM. The Modbus register map gives a complete overview of all adjustable settings.

Three-wire connection
This sensor is available in different versions depending on the required power supply. This DCMFG version can be connected with three wires and is suitable for both a 24 VDC and 24 VAC power supply. This is very useful as a replacement in existing installations. The GND terminal of the power supply voltage and the GND terminals of the analog outputs are connected via the printed circuit board. This allows the sensor to be connected with three wires (in the case of a 24 VAC power supply it MUST of course be connected with three wires).

Air ducts
The housing is optimized for temperature and humidity measurements in air ducts . It offers IP54 protection against the ingress of dust and moisture. The sensor element is integrated into the probe of the duct sensor. This probe is provided with an opening so that there is direct contact between the air flow and the sensor element. The sensor probe offers IP20 protection.
