Stelton - Arne Jacobsen, Peter Holmblad - Drinkservies -

Arne Jacobsen’s Cylinda-Line series for Stelton, launched in 1967, became an immediate success, winning Danish and international design awards in the late 1960s. His innovative use of lightly brushed, seamless stainless steel in pure, clean cylindrical forms was a sensation and has remained popular ever since. A true Danish design classic and perfect example of Scandinavian minimalism.

This cocktail and bar set comprises fine examples from AJ's Stelton Cylinda Line and from Peter Holmblad's Stelton Original series, some vintage pieces with original labels, all in near-mint condition. The set includes a sleek cylindrical lidded ice bucket (14x14x12cm; 1 litre) with matching ice tongs (19x4.4x2.4cm), a martini mixer (19x7x7cm) with matching mixer spoon (perfect for stirring cocktails), a corkscrew and bottle opener set, a cocktail/spirit measure (2 cl.), a bar knife, and a pair of rotating ashtrays, useful for serving nuts, olives or sweets, each with a revolving semi-spherical, hinged top (6.5cm x 7.5cm) with hidden space underneath for debris such as olive stones or nut shells. Most items are marked with the Stelton logo and/or original labels; the ice bucket is a vintage piece in which the Stelton label has been removed. They show no, or only very light patina. There are no dents, dinks or major scratches.

These fantastic minimalistic pieces are aesthetically pleasing and would make a fine addition to any mid-century modernist collection.
