Zeiljacht - Contest 30

Het verhaal achter de zeilboot. Wij hebben deze contest 30 (9.1m) zeilboot in 2021 gekocht als projectboot. Echter, wij hebben hiermee nog niet kunnen varen wegens familiale redenen. Daarom heb ik beslist om het schip terug te verkopen.

Het schip staat momenteel droog (sinds een jaar en half) op het land in Oostende. In de kajuit is slaapplaats voor 5 personen.

Ondertussen hebben wij de volgende werken aan het schip gedaan (facturen zijn allemaal beschikbaar):
- Buitenschip laten schuren, nieuwe grondlaag en 2 lagen anti-fouling laten plaatsen.
- Houten mast volledig laten nakijken en professioneel hersteld op de scheepswerf. Volledig geschuurd en 7 lagen bootvernis.
- Nieuwe verstaging op de mast laten plaatsen.
- Motor volledig laten nakijken.
- Nieuwe dieseltank + brandstofslangen.
- Nieuwe startbatterij
- Nieuwe walstroom 230V systeem met accu-lader, 10 m kabel, stopcontact in de kajuit
- Nieuwe dieselfilter
- Nieuwe lenspomp
- Nieuwe doorvoeren en slangen.
- Nieuwe diepte en snelheidsmeter (sumlog clipper duet)
- Nieuw klein materiaal om het schip wettelijk in orde te brengen (trap, veiligheidsmateriaal, radarreflector, ankerbal, ...)
- Nieuw anker (ketting en touw)
- Nieuwe VHF radio en antenne (Raymarine 63).
- Nieuwe elektriciteit en led-verlichting in de kajuit.
- Er is een dieselverwarming geïnstalleerd, maar de uitlaat moet nog geplaatst worden.

Wat moet er nog gebeuren:
- Nieuwe toilet en sanitair toebehoren.
- Nieuwe waterslangen voor de bestaande dubbele watertanks

De zeilen zitten in hun opbergtas sinds wij ze aangekocht hebben en zijn nog in goede staat.

Bezichtigen van het schip kan zeker maar enkel bij serieuze interesse want ik moet zelf een heel eind rijden. De aandachtige lezer begrijpt dat de kosten die recent zijn gedaan aan het schip hoger zijn dan de vraagprijs.

The Story Behind the Sailboat
We purchased this Contest 30 (9.1m) sailboat in 2021 as a project boat. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, we haven’t been able to sail it yet. Therefore, I’ve decided to sell the boat.
The boat is currently dry-docked (for a year and a half) on land in Oostende. The cabin can accommodate up to 5 people.

We’ve already completed the following work on the boat (invoices are available):

• The exterior of the boat was sanded, given a new base layer, and coated with 2 layers of anti-fouling.
• The wooden mast was thoroughly inspected and professionally repaired at the shipyard. It was fully sanded and received 7 layers of boat varnish.
• New rigging was installed on the mast.
• The engine underwent a complete inspection.
• We replaced the diesel tank and fuel hoses.
• Installed a new starting battery.
• Added a new weed filter.
• Fitted a new bilge pump.
• Replaced through-hulls and hoses.
• Installed a new depth and speed meter (Sumlog Clipper Duet).
• Acquired new equipment to bring the boat into legal compliance (ladder, safety gear, radar reflector, anchor ball, etc.).
• A new anchor (chain and rope) was added.
• Upgraded to a new VHF radio and antenna (Raymarine 63).
• Installed new electrical wiring and LED lighting in the cabin.
• A diesel heater has been installed, but the exhaust still needs to be fitted.

Remaining tasks:

• Install a new toilet and related sanitary equipment.
• Replace water hoses for the existing double water tanks.

The sails are stored in their bag since our purchase and are still in good condition.
Viewing the boat is possible, but only for serious inquiries, as I have to travel quite a distance. The attentive reader will understand that the recent costs incurred for the boat exceed the asking price.
